| French underground and exploitation filmmaker Jacques Scandalari directed this fascinating and haunting all-male docudrama in 1977.
The story follows the sexual exploits of a young man through Paris' sexual underground. With strong S & M motifs (the film is bookended by quotes from Bataille and DeSade respectively), and featuring food sex, orgies, bondage, public sex, and a bunch of outdoor encounters, MAN'S COUNTRY is a strange and visceral smorgosboard of carnality.
