Simple game operation. There are seven main plots and three hidden plots for each uncle. Each uncle has a separate interactive mini-game. 300 plot illustrations. The artwork in this game is AMAZING. I’m only a little ways in to the game but the backgrounds, uncles and the details have been paid a ton of detail. In a game that is all about getting to know other characters, both the characters and the backdrops are really important and it is obvious a lot of care and time was spent on both. The music is surprisingly varied and very fits the game very well. It’s surprisingly light and compliments the mood and scenes without taking away from the experience or drowning out the rest of the aspects of the game. There are a lot of really nice, clever jokes within the game that characters or the narrative will reference without it feeling too cliche or corny. EVERY CHARACTER IN THIS GAME HAS HIS OWN UNIQUE AND INTERESTING STORY. It helps me understand the way each character acts. It is like everything that happens has a reason to explain. Everything makes sense, and it makes the game even better. In the game I never get something like ‘Oh, why are you acting like this?’ or ‘Why are you not making sense at all’. Somehow I just cannot help, but love all the characters in the game, and the more I play it, the more these characters grow on me. The mechanics in the game is not complicated. The games rather let me enjoy the story and see the flows, how the things go, than making it difficult to get to the good ending. Most of the time the choices that lead to good or bad ending are quite obvious, which is good because I would rather enjoy this well written story than trying to figure out the ways to get to the good endings.
