| Way back in the 1960s, before porn stars became freaky steroided, vascular, striated bodybuilders, Kris model Mike Bradburn set a standard for natural beauty that has been rarely matched ever since. In those days, the only way to see video porn was to visit a sleazy red-light theater or to mail-order an 8-minute 8mm film that you could watch at home with a projector and screen.
This torrent contains (the only?) two Bradburn 8mm shorts released by Kris Studios in 1963 and 1964: the S&M-themed “Black Magic” and “Cabin in the Woods.” Although tame by today’s standards, both of these classic shorts show Mike in his prime, with a perfectly proportioned physique and ruggedly athletic good looks. Most surviving copies of these two films are poor-quality digital reproductions with no sound, probably shot with a camera on a tripod in front of a living-room screen. The Leather Archives & Museum in Chicago has done some great work restoring these and other vintage 8mm films and you should support this volunteer non-profit group by buying some of their DVDs – which include restorations of some of the best Kris releases. Their Web site also lets you download lots of free photos of vintage porn stars from 8mm studios like Kris. This torrent contains my own restorations of these two films, based on the best digital copies I could find online. I’ve also included all the photographs of Mike that I’ve collected over the years. I’m sure there’s more out there, but it’s in danger of being lost forever.
